Our sub brand “Home for Horror”: Everything To Know About Our Film Series!
Sleepy Hollow Cinema is thrilled to tell you more about our “sub brand”, “Home for Horror”! Our sub brand is our way to become synonymous with horror as a genre and tap into a fast growing audience. “Home for Horror” is also pertinent to our location in Sleepy Hollow (which is fast becoming as big as Salem at Halloween.
How Do We Define “Home For Horror”, You Ask?
“The Home For Horror” will consist of a series of experiential film screening events that present our horror programming with the goal of building strong brand association between Sleepy Hollow Cinema and horror movie culture. This series is dedicated to the love of horror in a place where horror belongs! We consider this series the launch of a long-term, ongoing national campaign. Our goal is to establish Sleepy Hollow Cinema as the destination for horror!
Campaign Vision: Where Horror Belongs!
Our intention is to position Sleepy Hollow Cinema and Sleepy Hollow as a cultural home for horror fans. At the “Emotional Core” of our series is nostalgia, fear, community, and ritual.
We Have Goals with “Home For Horror”!
Our goals with our “Home for Horror” series include increasing our attendance, growing our audience (families, horror fans, younger crowd, beyond), and gaining repeat visits from the incredible audience we build! We hope folks, like you reading this, enjoy our series and continue to spend time with us.
Our intention is to build a recognizable brand identity through the cinema we show, and to create long-term seasonal traditions for our audience members. We enjoy what we do and want to share the joy with you!
We recognize that people want shared experiences, not just content… So, that is what we hope to offer audiences through our “Home For Horror” film series!
Keep your eyes peeled for more to come from “Home for Horror”! We’ll have everything from more blog posts around the films we have scheduled, famous horror directors, the town of Sleepy Hollow itself (as a horror destination), and (of course) the movie “Sleepy Hollow”!
